1. AI Disclosure & Commitment
Juralex is an AI-powered legal marketplace that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to connect clients with verified legal experts across the European Union. We are committed to full AI transparency and compliance with the EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689).
This page serves as our AI disclosure, providing clear notice about how we use AI systems, what automated decisions are made, and how we ensure responsible use of these technologies.
2. AI Systems & Tooling Disclosure
We disclose the following AI tools, models, and systems used in our platform:
LLM-Based Legal Matching
We use large language models (LLM) as an AI tool to analyze case descriptions and match clients with appropriate legal specialists. The AI model processes your query to understand the legal domain and jurisdiction requirements.
Automated Document Analysis
Our AI system uses machine learning to assist with initial document review and categorization. No automated decisions about legal outcomes are made without human review.
Content Generation
Certain platform summaries and informational content may be AI-generated or generated by AI assistance. All AI-generated content is reviewed by qualified professionals before publication. We clearly label synthetic or AI-generated outputs where applicable.
3. Human Oversight & Review
In accordance with the EU AI Act, we maintain robust human oversight of all AI operations:
- Human review: All AI-assisted legal matching and document analysis results are subject to human review by qualified legal professionals before any consequential action is taken.
- Human-in-the-loop: Our AI systems operate with a human-in-the-loop approach. No binding legal advice is ever provided solely by an automated system.
- Override capability: Users and legal professionals can always override or disregard AI suggestions and recommendations.
- Continuous monitoring: Our team continuously monitors AI system outputs for accuracy, bias, and compliance with applicable regulations.
4. AI Feedback & Complaints
We welcome feedback about our AI systems. If you believe an AI-generated result was inaccurate, biased, or caused harm, you can:

We aim to acknowledge all AI-related complaints within 5 business days and provide a substantive response within 30 days.
5. Transparency Notice & Disclosure Practices
Under Article 50 of the EU AI Act, we are required to disclose when users are interacting with an AI system and to inform them about the nature of AI processing. We fulfil this obligation through:
- Clear labeling: AI-generated content and recommendations are clearly marked with appropriate indicators throughout the platform.
- Notice at point of interaction: When users interact with AI-driven features, we provide clear notice that artificial intelligence is being used.
- Right to explanation: Users have the right to request an explanation of how AI systems contributed to any recommendation or decision that affects them.
- Data processing transparency: We inform users about what data is processed by AI systems and for what purposes, in compliance with both the EU AI Act and GDPR.
6. Risk Classification
Under the EU AI Act risk-based framework, our AI systems are classified as follows:
Legal matching AI: Limited risk — transparency obligations apply. We ensure users know they are interacting with an AI system.
Document analysis AI: Limited risk — operates under human oversight with no autonomous legal decision-making.
Juralex does not deploy any AI systems classified as high-risk or unacceptable risk under Annex III of the EU AI Act. Our AI systems do not make autonomous decisions in areas that affect fundamental rights.
