1. Agreement to Terms & Pre-Launch Status

By accessing Juralex (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms.

Note: Juralex is currently in a Beta/Pre-launch phase. Services are provided for testing and evaluation purposes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate access to features at any time without notice.

2. AI Transparency & Disclosure (EU AI Act Compliance)

Pursuant to Article 50 of the EU AI Act, users are hereby notified that they are interacting with Artificial Intelligence systems.

Synthetic Content: All automated outputs, summaries, and chronologies are AI-generated.
No Human Review: Unless specifically marked with a “Human-Verified” watermark, content has not been reviewed by a legal professional.
Marking: AI-generated text is marked in a machine-readable format to ensure transparency.

3. No Legal Advice & Professional Duty

Juralex is a technology provider, not a law firm.

For Clients: Information provided is for informational purposes only. It is not legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is formed by using the Platform.

For Lawyers: The use of Juralex does not absolve you of your professional duties. You maintain a non-delegable duty of care to verify all AI-generated citations, timelines, and logic. Reliance on unverified AI output may constitute professional malpractice for which Juralex bears no liability.

4. The Sovereign Vault & Data Privacy

Our architecture is designed as a Zero-Access Sovereign Vault.

Encryption: Data is encrypted locally before reaching our servers.
Access: Juralex administrators do not have technical access to the unencrypted content of your case files.
Compliance: We comply with GDPR and local Polish data protection standards. Your data is stored exclusively on European servers.

5. AI “Hallucinations” & Limitation of Liability

AI is subject to “hallucinations” (generating false or biased information).

Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.

Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Juralex is not liable for financial loss, missed deadlines (e-Doręczenia), or legal errors resulting from reliance on the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the preceding 3 months.

6. Prohibited Use & Security

You agree not to:

Reverse Engineer: Attempt to extract our proprietary legal logic or training data.
Abuse API: Use automated systems to “scrape” the Platform or the integrated Bar/KRS registries.
Identity: Misrepresent your status as a licensed lawyer (checked against the ORA/OIRP registries).

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland and applicable EU regulations. Any disputes shall be settled exclusively by the courts of Warsaw, Poland.
